By accessing or using MotionMate ("the Service"), including our website, Adobe After Effects extension, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
MotionMate is a subscription-based Adobe After Effects extension that provides professional motion design tools including beat detection, AI-powered auto subtitles, graph editor, noise removal, comp splitter, and effect guide functionality.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
MotionMate offers monthly ($14/month) and yearly ($149/year) subscription plans. All payments are processed through LemonSqueezy, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to your chosen billing cycle.
We offer a 3-day free trial period for new users. At the end of the trial, your account will be converted to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. No credit card is required for the trial period.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 14 days, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund. Refunds after the 14-day period are handled on a case-by-case basis.

MotionMate, including its code, design, branding, and content, is owned by MotionMate and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for personal or commercial motion design work.
The Service integrates with third-party tools including Adobe After Effects, OpenAI Whisper (for transcription), and LemonSqueezy (for payments). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or terms of these third-party services.
AI features (subtitles and noise removal) process audio locally on your machine using the Whisper model. No audio data is transmitted to external servers. For details on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MotionMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We strive to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the extension is revoked. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
